Those facts describe ownership, public reputation, and price. They do not prove that activation, support, or connectivity will work well on a particular trip. Across our catalog the median Saily plan costs about $3.04 per gigabyte, which puts it in the middle of the market rather than the bargain basement. The measurable case for Saily is a broad single-country catalog with a large public review history. Its limits in our data are capped allowances, two common validity windows, and no confirmed 5G field. The sections below explain those numbers. Checkout and support are presented under the same consumer brand rather than a separate marketplace label. That makes the responsible company easier to identify, but it says nothing about response time or resolution quality. We did not contact support.

In our catalog we track 683 active Saily plans covering 151 countries. Every one of them is a single-country local plan, so a Saily plan bought for France works in France. Saily does advertise regional and global bundles on its own storefront, but the plans that flow into our comparison are the local ones, so this analysis stays where the head-to-head data is solid: one country at a time.

The pricing, in real numbers

Saily plans in our catalog run from $1.89 to $47.49, with per-GB pricing spanning $0.57 to $10.25. That is a wide spread, and it follows the usual eSIM pattern: tiny starter plans are expensive per gigabyte, and the 20 GB plans are where the value lives. The median works out to about $3.04 per GB and the cheaper quartile sits near $2.04, so a "typical" Saily plan is mid-market, not budget. Popular destinations cluster tightly: a 20 GB plan is $21.84 in Japan, Spain, and Turkey (about $1.09 per GB), $27.54 in Italy, and $30.39 in the UK and France. Asia tends to be Saily's best value. Thailand's 10 GB plan is $8.54, or $0.85 per GB, one of the few sub-dollar deals in the catalog. Coverage, data sizes, and the limits

Saily's 151-country footprint is broad, wider than most mid-size brands, and the benefit of the direct-brand model is that support and billing stay consistent everywhere. But three limits are worth stating plainly, because they are the ones most likely to catch a buyer off guard.

First, data caps. Every Saily plan in our catalog is capped, in sizes of 1, 3, 5, 10, and 20 GB, with no unlimited option among the plans we track. If you stream or tether heavily and want to stop counting gigabytes, Saily is not your brand. Second, validity: plans come in just two windows, 7 days or 30 days, which suits most trips but offers nothing for a long stay or a multi-month posting. Third, single-country coverage in our data means a three-country itinerary turns into three purchases and three installs, and at that point a regional plan from another brand may be simpler even when its per-GB price is higher.

One honest caveat on speed: our catalog data does not flag 5G support on Saily plans. That does not mean Saily runs on 3G. It means the 5G capability is not published in a form we can verify, so we will not claim it. If 5G matters for your destination, confirm it in the Saily app before you pay.

The catalog is easiest to justify for:

• Taking a single-country trip and want a reputable, app-first eSIM with real support behind it.
• Traveling in Asia, where Thailand, Japan, and their neighbors are where Saily's per-GB pricing is at its best.
• Buying a 20 GB plan, where the value is far better than the small starter sizes.
• Happy to pay a modest premium for the NordVPN team's brand and a large public review history.

Compare other providers if you need:

• Chasing the absolute lowest price per GB, where bulk-data brands undercut Saily heavily.
• After an unlimited plan or a long-stay validity window.
• Crossing several borders on one trip and would rather carry a single regional eSIM than several local ones.
